Savannah Phillips - (Set time: 9:00 PM)
Savannah Phillips
From the deep blue skies of the south to the blonde breezes of California, a new star appears on the horizon.

“She was different ever since she was born,” Savannah’s mother will tell you. When she came into this world Savannah Phillips had a destiny, a purpose, a mission, unlike any of her other three siblings. She wanted to SING!

From the time she was three years old, Savannah would make up melodies and dance around as though she knew what she was doing. Perhaps she did, as her childlike pretending lead her into acting, following in the footsteps of her older sister who was already in print. But there was something different about Savannah and sitting still in front of a camera would never do – at least not for now.

Kindergarten was no easy feat, Mom reports. “Savannah HATED it! She would scream and cry the whole way there.” And it wasn’t because Savannah couldn’t keep up. Quite the contrary – she was way ahead! Truth be told, it was the blessing of having grown up with older brothers and a sister that brought an uncanny maturity to this little girl.

By the time Savannah was eight years old she was living between the east and west coasts. The heartbreak of a divorce can grow a little girl up fast, and Savannah learned early on that life would bring more obstacles for her to either stumble on, or learn to use as stepping stones.

And step right on she did. By the age of ten Savannah had garnered the attention of veteran artist developer, Frank Harris (Joe Jackson, Father MC, Kat Williams, etc.) Harris met Savannah in the lobby of a hotel in California as she was “straightening up the place.” Frank knew right then there was something different about this little girl! Upon further conversation, Frank learned just how unique this finding would be, which lead him to an artist development interest in Savannah to help her pursue her driven purpose – to sing!

It was that relationship which introduced Savannah to the recording studio under the initial production of Angel Valentine (Tiny), and further offerings by Jimmy Hunter of Cazador Productions in LA who she continues to collaborate with.

In 2007, Savannah was brought to Jan Smith Studios in Atlanta, one of the nations most notable vocal coaching and artist development facilities in the music industry. Smith typically does not work with young people prior to 13 years of age unless they are already prominent in a career within the music industry, or “unless there’s something different about them,” and that was Savannah.

For four years, flying back and forth from Atlanta to LA, Savannah has worked hard to develop herself into a viable, marketable artist with something to say to other young people. “I can’t really think of anyone else I want to be like. I’d rather be known for creating my own sound and being unique in my own way.”

In the Fall of 2008, her dreams came to a sudden halt when Savannah was diagnosed with a hereditary thyroid disease which would lead her into a delicate surgery surrounding her vocal cords. Though she was afraid of the possible damage that could occur to her voice, Savannah braved the corrective surgery, leaving her with only a small, pink scar – no worse for the wear and certainly learning once again to either stumble or step those stones. With the surgery successfully behind her, Savannah is back singing stronger than ever and wanting to share her story with other young people who might have fears that hold them back from achieving their best.

There’s something different about her, all right. And yet somehow, she’s very much like every other young person growing up in a world with challenges, and heartaches, and hopes, and dreams. Savannah is just like you and me, and that’s what really makes her special.

Hi I'm Erik Anders, welcome to my Music Page.

I've been writing music, playing guitar and singing since December of 2007. I wrote my first song "I Know" and the most recent is "Wandering" in which I have over 60+ songs.
I started to perform back in 2009 in front of an audience, at my church, than I started playing in front of strangers, who are now my friends at a little place in Hermosa Beach, California called Suzy's Bar and Grill, which has lead to places such as Vincenzo, Lulus, MoreArt and El Tradoros.

Back in October of 2009, I started to venture out into the real world and I have now played numerous times at the Good Hurt Nightclub, El Rey Theater, Viper Room, Roxy and most recently The House of Blues.

My music has grown and I have gone from a solo act to a full band, the “Erik Anders Band” or know as “EAB”!

The members of my band are not just members, but my dear friend also. Garth, my brother and my drummer, well let just say we have too many thing in common. Patrick, my Piano and Doughbro player, which was my original Bass Player, I had to fire him, cause of all the instruments he plays. Which leads me to Nick which is my rhythm guitar player, he adds the look! And now to Miguel, which is the latest addition to the band that brings knowledge and his Bass.

But most of all, the associate’s band members and you fans, well, I would still be singing, but just to myself, so thank you all for your support! Enjoy the music, videos and pictures. I look forward to seeing you at one of the shows, come up and say Hello!!

Be Blessed
Major F & Dealio - (Set time: 8:10 PM)
Major F & Dealio
major F & dealio may be young, but you'd never know it listening to this talented and energetic rock band from San Clemente, Ca. This band of four was founded by female drummer, Madi Vogt (16) and bassist, Joe Allegretto (17) who started jamming and felt a connection. It wasn't long before they they found Rafi Caro (15), lead guitarist and Logan McGarry (17) vocals/guitar. They knew without a doubt this was the perfect fit. They have developed their sound and style and begun creating and writing their own music, as well as putting their own twists to songs by other artists such as Jimi Hendrix, Living Colour, Franz Ferdinand.

You will be completely sucked in by their musicianship, contagious energy, fun, and obvious connection with each other. This is one band you have to hear

Music was introduced into my life at a young age. My father had two classic electric guitars, a 1972 gold top Gibson Les Paul Deluxe and a 1969 Gibson SG Standard. I remember watching him play and loving the look and finish of the guitars. He taught me my first guitar chord - D - at a young age. I remember it being very hard! Both Mom and Dad were good natural singers, as were my Grandma and Grandpa on my Mom’s side. My great grandmother was an accomplished pianist, so I’m told, but I never had the chance to hear her play. Anyway, music was always around. The first formal training I received started with piano lessons, which I began at age 7. At age 9 I started singing in choir. I always seemed to be pretty proficient on the recorder in music class! And was told by my music teacher in elementary school that I had a good singing voice. Age 11 I got my first musical role as the littlest christmas tree in “The Littlest Christmas Tree.” I got my first solo!!! I can still remember it now! Soon after, singing became a bigger part of my life as I was cast in the musical “Narnia” and had to train up to be able to sing the complex songs. I started professional singing training at 13 years old and worked with some wonderful teachers in my hometown in Canada. This led to a stream of roles in musicals, where I played some great roles like Mary Lennox in "The Secret Garden," Anne in "Anne of Green Gables," Maria in "West Side Story," and the like. I trained privately for many years in legit musical theatre and classical music. Piano lesson fell by the wayside earlier on, so I took up the flute in concert band throughout Jr High and High School. I was fortunate to receive a ton of music theory training in my 7 years in concert band. Upon graduating from high school I decided to branch out into the pop/rock world of music and started playing acoustic guitar. I couldn’t put it down, I loved playing so much. I started writing a lot of songs, at first in more of a folk style, but really wanted to be a rock singer! I did some “basement studio” recordings in Canada, and spent a lot of time experimenting with writing. I played with some different bands in Canada, and collaborated with other writers. I played in our church band in the church I grew up in. Upon moving to LA I started playing in two churches, leading in two praise and worship bands. I currently lead worship in a little church in Santa Monica. I still do musicals every once in a while, having played Peggy in "Godspell" last summer and Cinderella in “Cinderella: the Musical” in January and February of this year. Over the past few years I’ve been writing a number of songs, and it was a dream come true when the opportunity arose to track my album with Isha Erskine at Glenwood Place Studios. It was such an incredible experience, and the album ended up becoming so much more than I ever could have imagined. I thank God for all that He’s done for me and for helping me through this whole process. I’m already working on my second album, I’ve been so inspired by this first one!
Starry Eyes - (Set time: 11:30 PM)
Starry Eyes
StarryEYES was formed by founding member Nic Weethee in 2003. It originally started out as a side project to his band at the time. He eventually quit that band and moved to Los Angeles to continue with StarryEYES and put a new band together. From 2011 he finished writing and recording 2 albums while searching for the right band members. He eventually found guitarist Louie Heredia who joined the project in 2008. And in 2010 they brought guitarist Morgan Jenkins and drummer Sergio Ramirez into the band. And finally in 2011 they found their bass player Chris Faber to complete the lineup. They are currently writing their first album together set to be released in 2012.
