Incite - (Set time: 10:00 PM)
Incite
Incite are locked and loaded for a modern thrash revolution.

The Arizona quartet fuses tight, technical shredding and monstrous grooves together on their formidable second full-length release produced by Logan Mader [DevilDriver, Fear Factory, Five Finger Death Punch, Gojira]. Due out fall 2012 on minus HEAD Records, it's brutal, bludgeoning, and bloodthirsty metal.

Singer Richie Cavalera is no stranger to quality heavy music. Immersing himself in the genre as a kid, his destiny was always the stage. In 2004, along with Zak [drums], Dis [guitar], and Luis [bass], Richie formed Incite with that in mind.

Soon after, the band destroyed venues across Europe, Canada, Australia and the United States with everyone from Dillinger Escape Plan to Soulfly, garnering rave reviews from tastemakers such as Kerrang! in the process. The group's 2009 debut, The Slaughter, left an indelible mark on the genre. Revolver called it "thrash that's hard to refuse/resist", and the single "Army of Darkness" hit #31 on the Sirius Metal Charts.

Now, they're bringing everything to a new level with their second full-length. Incite's modern musical assault and battery has been honed and sharpened. It's their time now. You've been warned.
Better Left Unsaid - (Set time: 9:15 PM)
Determination. Dedication. Drive. Strong words, but none fit better to describe the level of commitment Modesto, CA's Better Left Unsaid apply to their music. Active since 2003, BLU combine influences ranging from the thrash of Testament, the grooves of Pantera and the sheer attack of Machine Head into a modern metal whole that stands tall beside the likes of Threat Signal, Soilwork and Meshuggah.

In 2008, Better Left Unsaid released their national debut, The Fight Within, on Stillborn Records. The album benefitted from critical acclaim as well as coverage on MTV's Headbangers Ball for the video single "Testify". Sophomore album Only the Dead to Witness followed in 2010, and established the rhythmic pummeling sprinkled with melody that now defines the band's sound.

BLU are entering ProView Studios this Spring with engineer/producer Adam Ruppel at the dials. The band's highly-anticipated third album is set for release Summer 2012 and will be followed by extensive touring.

Better Left Unsaid have proven themselves to be a workhorse band with a steadfast DIY attitude. Be it through their seven US tours, averaging 150 dates per year since 2008, or onstage alongside the likes of Killswitch Engage, Devildriver, 3 Inches Of Blood, Daath, Mushroomhead, Hed P.E. and Hatebreed, these guys undeniably get things done, and have their sights set even higher for 2012.
Spades & Blades - (Set time: 8:30 PM)
"We've said it before, and we'll say it again, the heavy metal genre may be churning out the most innovation musically speaking these days. Witness Los Angeles band Spades & Blades whose music centers around the metal sound with machine gun-fast grinds and face melting guitar solos. But they hold the vocals to this side of the death metal growling and instead inject vox with hardcore articulation. As a bonus they forgo the flat-ironed hair and skinny jeans so common to these metal hybrids in favor of grizzled mugs and menacing scowls. It's a rock thing, not a fashion show."
