The Wild Reeds - (Set time: 10:30 PM)
The Wild Reeds
The Wild Reeds have transformed from a three part harmony driven band to a full indie folk rock force that has been sweeping the West Coast. In the past year The Wild Reeds have toured along side artist such as Noah Gundersen and Israel Nash while also making an appearance at festivals such as Newport Folk Festival’s sister of the West, Way Over Yonder, Make Music Pasadena, Echo Park Rising, Claremont Folk Festival, Lightning in a Bottle, and successfully captured large audiences every Monday night in December with their Holiday Residency at The Satellite.

In August 2014 the band released their formal debut album, Blind and Brave, which was produced by Raymond Richards at Red Rockets Glare (Parson Redheads, Honey Honey, Local Natives, Dustbowl Revival). Blind and Brave illustrates the story of the working class, and encourages listeners to genuinely care about the place they inhabit, keep it beautiful, connect with people, and be brave. In everything you do, do it out of love. The album was released with a very special show at the historic Troubadour.

Currently the members of The Wild Reeds hold up the fort all over California, from Koreatown to Highland Park to Hollywood – coming together to rehearse right in the heart of Hollywood. Together they are strong advocates for California, specifically Los Angeles.
River City Extension - (Set time: 9:25 PM)
River City Extension
Music is an art form that is meant to speak to us beyond the literal. After spending years perfecting his craft, Singer/songwriter, Joseph Michelini decided to take his music to the next plane. Cutting his teeth in coffee houses in Toms River, NJ, Joseph began to introduce different elements, from acoustic bass, to banjo and cello. At that point, River City Extension was born; having the intention of writing orchestral indie rock, while introducing elements of Punk, Country, Folk, and World music. River City Extension found itself going from a 3 piece acoustic act, and developing into a full 8-piece band. The band perfected a staggering and impressive live show, filled with high energy and angst. Finding themselves without a label they went into the studio and recorded their first D.I.Y. EP, Nautical Sabbatical in 2008. The band literally put the CDs together by hand prior to each show.

After finalizing their outfit, River City Extension hit the road, establishing a strong following in the Northeast region, making lasting impressions on audiences and promoters alike. The band created an organic element gradually developing them from a small local phenomenon, into a budding national act landing a slot on ARTSCAPE in Baltimore, MD directly supported Cake and Robert Randolph performing in front of 14,000 people as well as opening regionally for such acts as Squeeze and Nicole Atkins.

In late 2009 River City Extension hit the studio to record their first LP named “The Unmistakable Man” . The band along with Eric Sanderson of the Brooklyn based band Pela, spent the next few months working in the studio perfecting each song. The plan was to release an album that would allow the listener to experience a story from start to finish, whatever their interpretation would be. “The Unmistakable Man” delivers immense and precise orchestration, and is reflective of their energetic live show, this music will stand the test of time.

In early 2010 the band inked a deal with XOXO Records (Home to The Gaslight Anthem, Let Me Run, This Charming Man etc...). The band’s new album has already started to get recognition, most recently appearing of the cover and featured in the East Coast Rocker. With the support of their label, friends and family, River City Extension plans to tour diligently across the US and UK.
Air Traffic Controller - (Set time: 8:30 PM)
Air Traffic Controller
With a refreshing and modern day indie rock sound that infuses unforgettable electro-pop sensibilities with orchestral prowess compositions, Air Traffic Controller is one of the fastest rising original acts in the country. Serving in the US Navy as a real-life air traffic controller, singer/songwriter Dave Munro sent home 4-track demos he had written and recorded during his deployment. With his enlistment up, Munro returned to his hometown in Boston and discovered an impressive number of fans, prompting the genesis of the aptly-named band.

In 2012, ATC released the effervescent All-American indie pop record NORDO, the follow up to '09's The One, which received many accolades and award nominations such as the “Artist on The Verge” award by NMS. “You Know Me” from NORDO graced the #1 spot on The Hype Machine, was placed on the NPR Hot 100 List for SXSW, was named Best Indie Alternative Song in the Independent Music Awards, and currently has over 4 Million plays on Spotify. With the second single "Hurry Hurry," ATC was named Band Of The Day by the Guardian UK and a Top 5 College Radio act by WERS and MTVU.

Reminiscent of classic singer/songwriters such as Paul McCartney and Bruce Springsteen, Munro keeps it honest, with autobiographical lyrics and well-crafted storytelling. On stage, Munro (lead vocals and guitar), Casey Sullivan (lead vocals, bass, and more), Steve Scott (keys, guitars), Adam Salameh (drums) & Jeremy Van Cleave (violin) are often accompanied by an entire string section to capture and recreate the brilliant and full sound found on their recordings. In 2013, the band had a hugely successful tour of London and since then they have been asked to perform with acts such Joshua Radin, Kongos, Catfish & The Bottlemen and more.

Fast forward to 2015: Air Traffic Controller is touring this spring and have re-teamed with producer Bleu (Boys Like Girls, Demi Lovato) on their third studio album, incorporating more duets and solo lead songs with Casey Sullivan. The album is due this summer and features new songs “The House” and “People Watching.”
