Charming Liars - (Set time: 9:35 PM)
Charming Liars
Los Angeles by way of London Alternative Band Charming Liars have been building steadily since their inception. The band has been endorsed by no less an icon than Sir Elton John, who has featured the band's songs on his Apple Music "Rocket Hour" radio show. They have toured with a diverse array of acts such as Jane's Addiction, Night Riots, New Politics and You Me at Six. They are no strangers to big stages and have played at festivals both in and outside the U.S. With the upcoming release of addictive new single "Like A Drug" on April 6th through Chartmaker Inc., and an LP of new material in late June - the band is prepared to have a breakthrough year in 2018.

Charming Liars evolution began in London's West End when Karnig and Mike were still in their teens. They both came from homes with wide ranging and eclectic musical tastes, and that early exposure informed their approach to making music. They started writing and playing together in a series of bands and honed their musicianship with several tours up and down the U.K. In 2013 they decided to make the move to Los Angeles, in part spurred on by an encouraging social media message from songwriter and producer John Feldmann (Panic! at the Disco, Plain White T's, 5 Seconds of Summer, Blink-182) – who told them to look him up for a songwriting session if they were ever in town. They connected with Kiliyan through a mutual friend while he was attending The Musicians Institute in Hollywood. Through initial conversations that lead to songwriting and then recording sessions – the 3 realized that they had an organic musical chemistry that would lead to interesting possibilities. The current line-up was solidified.

Inspired by Alternative and Rock giants like U2, The Police, and Linkin Park, among others - the band pays tribute to their roots while carving out their own unique Alt.Pop sound. "We want to have a big effect on music listeners around the world," Karnig says, "whether it be through the feeling of the music, lyrical content, ideals or even simply friendship". Mike adds "We're most content when we get the opportunity to play the songs we wrote in a live setting. We take great pride in crafting our live show to reflect the recordings we so diligently work on in the studio, to really connect with our fans".

Having released a couple EP's since their arrival in the states, 2016 saw the release of their single "Soul" which reached number #40 on the Alternative Radio Charts and who's video has over 600,000 views on Youtube. A cover of Sir Elton's "I'm Still Standing" was released in the spring of 2017 in conjunction with the Grammy organization's MusiCares arm. The band continued to make inroads @ Alternative radio in the fall of 2017 with "Insomnia", which is still getting residual play at the format.

They have built a following with constant touring, and have played across the entire as well as South America, Mexico, the U.K. and Brazil. Their touring resume includes the Uproar tour, as well as opening for Night Riots, Kings of Leon, Weezer, and Jack White. To support the new "Like A Drug" single, tour dates are being booked for the summer.

The Filthy Souls - (Set time: 8:50 PM)
The Filthy Souls
The Filthy Souls, an indie-rock band hailing from Manchester, England, possess a creative energy that drives their music and electric live performances. Their strength of voice transcends any era classification, while still giving just a hint of their many musical influences. Their obvious appeal to the masses comes from, as the Sunday Telegraph Australia calls it, a mixture of "Part Indie pop and part dirty, sexy rock-and-roll!."

Dave Green (Vocals/Guitar) became a regular on the U.K. music scene, playing everywhere from the small pubs in Wigan, to the auspicious Manchester Academy 3. Crisscrossing the British Isles, hitting the festival circuit, opening for such artists as Tim Burgess of the Charlatans, Finger Eleven and Cage The Elephant. During this time, Green notes, "We were all about the music, not just playing, but making it a part of our very being, and giving that back to the fans."

In March 2009, Dave Green came to the US for a six week club tour. Following the success of the tour, Green decided to relocate to Los Angeles. It was in Los Angeles that Green met up with an old friend from Manchester, guitarist Danny Wagstaff, bass player Mike Meza and drummer, Topher Gale, to complete the band's line up. The Filthy Souls released their debut EP, Save Me in February 2010.

The music of this Brit rock/pop group has been featured on American TV numerous times. The Filthy Souls have been heard on One Tree Hill, Vanished, Mercy, Greek, Pretty Little Liars, Make It Or Break It and The Glades. The band was written into the script for ABC's hit comedy 10 Things I Hate About You. The Filthy Souls have recently made live appearances on Manchester's Channel M, as well as having been heard on NPR's KCRW Los Angeles, BBC 6 Introducing and on Manchester's Key 103.

The band is currently finishing their debut album and will be touring this summer in support of the release.

The buzz is electric, the excitement is building, and the momentum is launching this indie-rock band straight into the hearts of music fans.
Raw Fabrics - (Set time: 8:05 PM)
Raw Fabrics
What do you get when you throw three punked-out rockers with an Andy Warhol fixation and a penchant for slithering dancefloor grooves in the same room? Well, the answer is Los Angeles trio Raw Fabrics a.k.a. Jack b. Franco [vocals, guitar], Jon Fredrik [drums], and Justus Dixon [bass, mpc/synth].

Since first forming in 2013, the boys have one critically acclaimed EP to their name, 2014’s Gold Handcuffs, and they’ve shared the stage with the likes of Alt-J and Weezer. However their follow-up EP serves as something of a clarion call for the group, unveiling strains of soul through a siphon of sizzling electronic textures, throbbing distortion, and hypnotic crooning.

“Sonically, we always aim to take raw elements from different genres and combine them,” explains Jack. “That’s our approach, and it’s even the idea behind the name.”

Following a fiery first national headline tour, Raw Fabrics hit the studio with legendary producer and engineer Joe Chiccarelli [Morrissey, U2, The Strokes] in early 2015. They tracked the majority of their upcoming EP in one day with Jack adding flourishes of electronics and finishing up the vocals. The singer’s lyrical intensity bristles throughout these sonic backdrops, emanating palpable emotion. Breaking the mold, his delivery functions as an instrument in and of itself. While recording, words and phrases sporadically came to him, punching in tandem with the tribal-inspired percussion or what the band likes to refer to as “jungle drums.”
