MAX -- Sounds Like Gibberish Tour
MAX is a New York City-born pop-soul singer, actor & dancer, who is already a viral sensation. Following in the footsteps of pop moguls Justin Timberlake and Bruno Mars, MAX's powerful acrobatic tenor commands attention. MAX's devoted fanbase and original voice has given him an incredibly strong social media presence with over 1 million followers on YouTube, 350,000 followers on Twitter and over 850,000 likes on Facebook. His newest single, "Gibberish (feat. Hoodie Allen)", was one of the selected tracks featured by YouTube for the 2015 YouTube Music Awards alongside songs by Ed Sheeran & Charli XCX. The groundbreaking music video for “Gibberish” accumulated over 4.5 million views in just one week, and the song has racked up almost 5 million plays on Spotify to date. MAX can also be seen playing music producer Van Dyke Parks in the upcoming Beach Boys biopic "Love & Mercy." The film, directed by Bill Pohlad, premiered at this year's SXSW Film Festival and also stars John Cusack, Paul Dano, Elizabeth Banks and Paul Giamatti. MAX’s forthcoming debut album will be released on Pete Wentz's DCD2 label. He will be featured on the “Boys of Zummer” tour this summer alongside Fall Out Boy, Wiz Khalifa, and Hoodie Allen.
Alexz Johnson - (Set time: 8:00 PM)
Alexz Johnson
Alexz Johnson is a Canadian singer-songwriter based in Brooklyn, NY. Born the middle child of nine siblings, Alexz began writing songs with her brother Brendan at the age of 12. After writing for and portraying musicians in multiple films and TV shows, Alexz began to experiment with her own unique pop/soul sound. This attracted the attention of major labels, signing first to Capitol in 2005 and Epic Sony in 2008 (completing a full length record with producer Greg Wells). Due to internal changes, Alexz music never got it’s proper release.

In the absence of traditional support, Alexz has continued to build a strong following in an independent market. Deciding to release her Skipping Stone EP through Kickstarter enabled her to raise over $30,000 within the first 24 hours of her campaign, $67,000 overall allowing her to tour 17 cities with her band across the US and Canada. Her most recent music video Walking premiered on MTV Buzzworthy in the summer of 2012 and by the end of the year Alexz was listed and featured as Billboard Music’s Unchartedto watch.

In 2013, Alexz successfully launched and fully funded a Pledge Music Campaign to record her new full length album. She is currently recording at Avatar Studios in NYC with producer David Kahne.
