The Cause - (Set time: 9:45 PM)
The Cause
The Cause was originally born from the spirit and mind of one young adolescent’s awakening of consciousness of the world around him. That young man, Gerard Bozoghlian, was just a burgeoning musician when he was transplanted from Argentina to the United States, where he would not only develop his already sprouting musical chops, but also sink his roots into the very soil of what it meant to become an artist. Music from The Cause is idealistic in it’s approach and intention, encouraging the listener to unplug their mind and begin listening to their soul.

Gerard embarked on his adolescence in the cultural and social whirlwind of Los Angeles as a young son of Armenian heritage raised in Argentine culture until his early teens. It was the clashing of this amalgam of different social and political ideologies that was the catalyst that spawned Gerard to disbelieve the constructs and institutions of the cultural powers that be, and begin to look to music and art to find the universal truths that connect all human beings.
Bringing with him the musical education he received while in Buenos Aires, Gerard continued his studies in the States at the Los Angeles County High School For The Arts. During his years of musical study, Gerard’s appetite for new music took him outside of the classroom and into the local record store where he ingested as many tunes from musical giants new and old. These included legends such as The Beatles, Pink Floyd, Genesis and The Doors, to name a few. Listening to music he creates as The Cause, one can faintly hear elements of the aforementioned greats he considers as kindred spirits who strived to inspire new modes of thinking through progressive music and universal consciousness.

Through daily meditation and a pursuit of spiritual studies, Bozoghlian continues to enhance the message that traverses via the music of The Cause. With eyes set on inspiring listeners to find their own personal awakenings and truths, The Cause has only just set sail on this lifelong musical journey.

In the coming months, The Cause will have enough music to comprise a debut album rich with chunky arena rock guitar riffs intertwined with sweeping piano notes, heartfelt vocals and thought provoking lyrics. These fresh songs, full of progressive rhythms and beautiful string arrangements have garnered the support of Serj Tankian from System of a Down and the production/engineering expertise of Dan Monti (Guns N’ Roses, Metallica, Buckethead). Shows in the LA area will be announced in the very near future, so stay tuned!
Atomic & The Shallow - (Set time: 10:30 PM)
Atomic & The Shallow
Atomic & The Shallow formally known as Full Force Rising is the leather jacket you partied in then wore it to work. It took up this faded and rusty look but still got you the promotion your fiance was wishing for. Much like that rugged leather, the music this band displays, proves influences of classic rock as well as tomorrow's hard rock. With each of the 3 members coming from vast musical backgrounds, each stirs into the music influences from; jazz and blues, funk, classical, ethnic, traditional, electronic, and assortments of rock and metal.
Mothership - (Set time: 9:00 PM)
Mothership
Based in Los Angeles, Mothership incorporates diverse influences into all of their songs. Band members Vartan Arslanian (guitar), Eric Estes (vocals and rhythm), Chris Tufenkjian (drums), and Taniel Vartanian (bass) share the same passions and devotions when it comes to playing music. Influenced by bands such as Guns N Roses, Red Hot Chili Peppers, and Led Zeppelin, and Soundgarden, Mothership has one thing on their mind: sharing their music with the world.
Shades Of Truth - (Set time: 8:15 PM)
Shades Of Truth
This band started when two young aspiring intellectuals (Niko and Johnny) met in a high school Spanish class. Everyday Johnny would beseech Niko to let him borrow his Algebra 2 book in order to finish his homework promptly before going home. One day Johnny noticed that Niko had strange markings etched on his notebook. It read "System of a Down". From that day on, they became best of friends and decided to start a band.

A few years later, they met another intellectual at the University of California, Pierce. Michael was but a young chap in a chemistry class when he met Johnny. They assisted each other in concocting dangerous chemicals and through casual and colloquial talks, they learned of each others gifts and Johnny said "You are a drummer? Come join my band bro", to which Michael responded, "I shall, bro".
