Boy Hits Car - (Set time: 9:45 PM)
Boy Hits Car
Boy Hits Car was started in 1993 with a simple idea—to write and perform ‘passionately heavy music’ infused with a world beat/middle eastern flavor.

Based out of northwest Los Angeles, the band spent the first few years perfecting their sound while playing both local and regional shows.
In 1995, a Baltimore based independent label booked Boy Hits Car on their first national tour—six weeks straight performing nearly every night—an experience that proved challenging yet absolutely addictive. During this time the band decided that no matter what the cost, they would try to make a lifestyle out of performing their music---music they eventually dubbed ‘Lovecore’.
BHC continued to write, record and tour until 1997 when they landed a deal with a Texas based independent label. They recorded their first full length CD---‘My Animal’ which was released and distributed in 1998 through NMG music. Unfortunately after only a few weeks, they lost their distribution deal but the band pressed on undeterred. Armed with a strong new record and the help of new management (BAM) and their faithful lawyer Ian Montone, Boy Hits Car finally found themselves in a position of doing multiple showcases on both coasts and being wined & dined by some of the biggest record labels around (Warner Bros.,Cherry/Universal, Dreamworks, Arista), they eventually signed with Wind-Up Records.
While continuing to write and gig throughout 2000, the band landed a slot on the Sno-Core tour with System of a Down and Incubus as well as a number of summer dates with Papa Roach. Then in August of 2000 BHC set out for Vancouver to record their second full length CD---the ‘Self-Titled’ album, which was released in January 2001. Their first single ‘I’m a Cloud’ gained quick rotation on many modern and active rock radio stations.
The band hit the road again, this time supporting Fear Factory and Kittie on the ’01 Sno-Core tour. They remained on the road for most of the year, playing national radio gigs, supporting Stone Temple Pilots throughout Europe and performing main stage slots on most of the major European festivals (Reading/Leeds, Lowlands, Puklepop, Bizarre, Highfield, Rock Am Ring/Rock Am Park to name a few).
In 2002, the band was back in Los Angeles to begin writing material for their third CD---‘The Passage’. During this time they parted ways with Wind-Up and decided to release the record independently. After sending it to the bands radio champions, BHC was invited to perform at one of central New York’s biggest and well known radio festivals---the KROCK-A-Thon. They ended up stealing the show and their performance there is now somewhat infamous due to front man Craig Rondells historic stage dive into the audience from nearly seventy feet above. They were also asked to play EDGEfest in Arizona and then invited to perform to the peacekeeping forces in the Balkans.
After returning home, they learned their first single from the Passage entitled ‘Escape the World’ had been added to Atlanta’s 105.3 The Buzz (currently Project 96.1) and became the second most requested song by January ’06. Although the band was achieving good things on their own, they longed to have a solid team backing them. Later that year, the band was once again doing dates on the Sno-Core tour, supporting Seether and Shinedown and then landing a main support slot on two different tours with Flyleaf. They spent the remainder of ’06 and the first half of ’07 writing new material and playing shows in and around Southern California as well as some festival dates in England. The band finished off the year with a two week tour in the north east, three straight weeks of dates in the UK/Scotland, and a massive New Year’s Eve gig at the Masquerade in Atlanta.
Since 2008 Boy Hits Car has been writing and recording material for their fourth album---‘Stealing Fire’ which is due for release in early 2011. It’s the bands best and most compelling work to date. They’ve already landed a licensing deal for Germany, Austria, and Switzerland and are booked to do a month of festivals during the 2011 season.

“All we wanna do is support this album for the next couple of years. We’re down to play every night or every day if that’s what it takes as long as we’re actively working this beautiful piece of art we’ve spent over two years creating. The album is F*%# solid from start to finish and we feel there are at least 4 -5 tracks off of ‘Stealing Fire’ that could do really well on modern and active rock radio” -- Craig Rondell (front man-BHC)… Have a listen and I’m sure you’ll agree.

These Los Angeles natives have toured with System of a Down, Incubus, Papa Roach, and Flyleaf to name a few, and were featured on the 2001 SnoCore Tour, as well as a few dates on the '06 SnoCore tour w/Seether and Shinedown. Haven gained a reputation of having one of the most powerful and captivating live shows, the boys have also made their way through Europe on their own headlining tours and played main stage slots at European festivals such as Reading and Leeds in England and Germany's Rock Am Rink and Rock Im Park, to name a few.

Their new album "The Passage", (self-financed/co. produced), features the single ‘Escape the World', which was added to Atlanta's most cutting edge modern rock radio station, 105.3 ‘The Buzz', and without the help of any record company, managed to climb to #2 as the most requested song!!! When you hear track 3 off "The Passage", (officially released stateside in summer of 2006 through Rock Ridge Music), you'll see why...
Cage 9 - (Set time: 10:45 PM)
Cage 9
This is the band's official Facebook page.

USA Today--->“the initial impact could cause whiplash, but this Panamanian rock band makes great use of subtlety, too, like the layered guitars and the falsetto that kicks in just when you expect a scream.”

"Hearts & Stars" can be heard on the latest version of the video game "MX vs. ATV Untamed." The quartet can also be heard in the soundtrack of WWE Stone Cold Steve Austin’s new move “The Condemned,” in the trailer for the "Dukes of Hazzard" movie, as well as on FX's "The Shield," “American Pie: Band Camp,” and Stephen J. Cannell's thriller "Demon Hunter."

Currently serving as the main guitarist for Powerman 5000, Cage9's singer/guitarist Evan Rodaniche landed the band as opener for PM5K's last big U.S. Tour in March, playing in both bands nightly. Cage9 has also gigged with Seether, Buckcherry, Amy Lee of Evanescence, Scary Kids Scaring Kids, Wes Boreland's Black Light Burns, Madina Lake, Ice T’s Body Count, Adema, Cheap Trick, ex-Pumpkin James Iha, Godhead, Smile Empty Soul and toured from Europe and Japan, to the U.S. and Central America.

Already a part of Universal Music Publishing, Cage9 signed with Japanese label Triple Vision Entertainment / BM.3 Corporation who licensed "Survival Plan," "Chaos Morning" (Japan exclusive) and “El Motivo” which has sold over 12,000 copies.

Cage9, based in Los Angeles, is comprised of Panama transplant Evan Rodaniche on guitar/vocals, L.A. native Jesse Beltz on guitar, Murv Douglas on bass, and Joe Babiak on drums. Evan steers the project as the band’s main song-scaper and recording-guru whose production and mixing skills have not only shaped Cage9's sound but that of many other performers from latin-grammy-winners Los Rabanes, Atlantic Record's upstarts Big City Rock, to current Rolling Stone and Spin indie darlings The Willowz.

Cage9's video for “My Doppelganger” spent time in full rotation on Mtv Latino and the band was invited to Mtv's Latin Video Awards in Mexico City in '07 where they walked the red carpet with bands like Juanes, The Cure, Avril Lavigne and more. The video has also appeared on Mtv Japan & Fuse on Demand.
Midnite Theory - (Set time: 8:45 PM)
Midnite Theory
Hip Hop, Rock, Pop, Soul whatever you want to call's cool with Midnite Theory.

Midnite Theory formed in late 2006 in Thousand Oaks, CA. With less emphasis on computer created sounds than other groups, they’re a refreshing look at the whole hip-hop genre. With influences ranging from Bob Dylan, soul and jazz, to rock, hardcore, and indie, Midnite Theory manage to pull off what others would consider an elaborate and complex combination, and they pull it off well. The band has played hundreds of shows throughout Southern and Northern California including headlining and direct support slots at The Viper Room, Key Club, Whisky A go go and The Troubadour. The band has opened up and shared the stage with national acts such as Shwayze, BadFish, Unwritten Law, The Living Legends, Aceyalone, Dirt Nasty, Hyper Crush and LMFAO.

In 2006 after the groups MC Nash The Kid and producer Jeremy Hanlon finished up Nash's solo record "Our Broken Home," they looked to put together a live band to showcase the album. They asked Nash's brother Danny to play guitar and found drummer Kristifari and bassist Matt Lieberman at 4Bros Studios in Westlake, Ca. After playing a handful of shows singer/songwriter Leilani was added to the group as well. The band quickly meshed and a created a sound that mixed Hip Hop with Rock, Soul, Punk and Pop while utilizing both electric and acoustic guitars. In late 2007 the band set out to record the "4Bros EP" and initial tracking was done at 4Bros during two 12 hour days in November 2007. Midnite Theory continued to gig putting together self-funded tours to San Francisco and San Diego and throwing huge studio parties at their rehearsal wharehouse while working on new material for another album. In 2008 Midnite Theory was discovered by producer and Document Room owner J.T. Meskiel (Puddle of Mudd, Lauryn Hill) at 4Bros studios during one of the bands infamous parties. Meskiel invited the band out to his recording compound in Malibu and asked to produce the bands next album. Tracking for "Never Sleep Till Sunrise" took place over a 2 month span in Late summer 2008.

By the end of 2008 Midnite Theory had two finished EP's ready for release. They released the self produced "4Bros EP" in Jan '09. and released the EP "Never Sleep Till Sunrise," as a digital only release on Itunes in March of '09. The band is currently in the studio working on their debut full length record titled "This Town" which is due early 2011.
