Derek Anthony Gray - (Set time: 8:00 PM)
Derek Anthony Gray
"Derek Anthony Gray", front man, songwriter, vocalist and electric guitarist has brought passion and chaos back to rock music today. Combined with the talents of the "DAG BAND", he is ready to rock the world of music.

A blend of Classic Rock and Pop Rock melody hooks, with an edgy delivery is the likeness to which their sound has been described. Derek’s dynamic vocals range from a sonorous howl to a soft whisper. Combined with his songwriting skills and the band's collaboration makes a stage show that is both electrifying and captivating.

Derek is proficient on guitar, drums, piano and bass, which excels his ability to demonstrate ideas for composing his hit songs. Derek brings his energy to the stage and projects it to the audience, the heart of a solid and entertaining show.

The Band

On the drums is Erik Kritzer. Erik has toured, performed and recorded with many bands during his professional career; lending his skills to the DAG Band with bedrock solid drums.

And on the bass is Steve Holmgren. Steve has worked as a studio musician and performed with many bands throughout his life; a longtime member of the DAG Band and deliverer of core bass in solid support of Erik’s drumming.

"Derek Anthony Gray" Band is available for venue and club bookings in the Southern California area. We are already booking dates in Summer 2012 so be on the lookout for the "DAG BAND".
Philosophy Of Soul - (Set time: 8:50 PM)
Philosophy Of Soul
Philosophy of Soul is not your conventional or stereotypical band. They are more commonly referred to as Young Musical Hybrids. Their unique and influential upbringing surrounded them with talent and celebrated musicians that helped them create and define their own signature sound.

Brothers Danny and Andy Avila are the sons of Hammond Sam Avila who is a renowned B3 Organ blues musician (Walter Tr...out) and the nephews of Grammy nominated Producer and Oingo Boingo bassist John Avila. The Avila house has always been filled with performers, recording artists, instruments and tons of live music impromptu sessions that exposed the boys to multiple styles and techniques of musicianship. Artists like Victor Bisetti (Los Lobos) Walter Trout (Canned Heat) Tracy G (Dio), Mike Albert (MegaDeath) Jerry Salas (El Chicano) Mike Leisure (Edgar Winter) Rapper Coolio, Sammy Sanchez (Keb Mo, Jackson Browne) John Villalobos (Celia Cruz, Tito Puente). Joining the two brothers is Steven Castillo on bass guitar. Known for his crazy antics while performing has earned him the name of "Supa Steve." Very talented and energetic to say the least Supa was the missing link for Philosophy of Soul.

With only 3 members, they’re sound is powerful, melodic, and memorable to the ears. Stylistically, they sound like six musicians combined. Imagine a collision of Stevie Wonders’ soulful vocals, Stevie Ray Vaughn’s guitar chops, Incubus’ funk and grooves with the Red Hot Chili Peppers’ high energy and delivery. Now combine that musical scenario with strong hooks, universal lyrics and youth, and you will get their definition of the Philosophy of Soul. Philosophy of Soul is Andy Avila, 23, Danny Avila, 22, and Steven “Supa Steve” Castillo, 23.
As You Were - (Set time: 10:30 PM)
As You Were
In today’s ever advancing technological society, few things hold peoples interest for too long. Fortunately, great hard rock music has withstood the test of time. Take a heaping teaspoon of originality, sprinkled with an unrivaled live performance, and you have As You Were! With a smooth blend of classic, modern, metal, and groove, topped off with the occasional ballad, As You Were creates a surefire hit with a style all their own. Don’t be fooled by their young faces. Individually, As You Were are music professionals who take the utmost pride in their craft. While spanning several years of individual hard work, with a relentless team effort that strives only for perfection, As You Were has built themselves from the ground up, into one of the best rock acts Southern California has to offer. They have amassed a large, and loyal following while playing some of the top spots in Southern California. These polished musical veterans have shared the stage with numerous big names from Poison, to Buckcherry, to Alien Ant Farm, and many more. They’ve performed numerous headlining gigs, and sold out shows to the delight of many screaming fans. In 2010, As You Were roared into the Southern California music scene and never looked back. They were the musical guests on Nightcap with host, Sebrina Brian of the Cheetah Girls, they followed that performance by overcoming many hard fought obstacles to beat out over 250 submitted bands, and take first place in The Sam Ash Southern California Championship, and earning them an endorsement with Electro-Voice (one of the best sound companies in the world). In late October 2010 they performed in front of a sold out crowd, as they released their first album entitled “Out Of Control” and their music video for their critically acclaimed tune “Rock All Night With You”, which has been requested on several radio stations. In 2011 they stepped up their game, reinventing themselves with a new, slightly edgier groove, chock-full of catchy, memorable choruses that are sure to get stuck in your head. As You Were continues to build on their large, loyal following, which helps make them one of the more popular acts of any independent artist in southern California. Venues can attest to their hard work, and fans can vouch for a mesmerizing experience and jaw dropping performance. This is why they headline, and fill such venues as The House Of Blues over and over again. Early 2012, As You Were plans to release their first fully produced album entitled “The Calm Before…” at The House Of Blues Anaheim, followed by a unique, and slightly controversial music video. Then they’ll take their high energy, and live intensity to the road, leaving only a wake of old & new fans screaming for more. As You Were has the brightest of futures, with an ever growing following, huge marketable music, and a live show that can’t be beat. In the upcoming year, they plan to take the Southern California music scene, and beyond by storm.
Future Fix - (Set time: 9:40 PM)
Future Fix
Hailing from southern California, Future Fix presents their freshman release of an 8 song self titled EP that bring the honesty of Americana and the power of 90's British alternative rock through cutting vocals, soaring guitars, and a relentless rhythm section. With meaningful bands such as Oasis, Pearl Jam, The La's and The Killers at the fore front of Future Fix's influences, the band aims to write songs that push the envelope even further with a fresh approach. Future Fix sees the future with more powerful and honest bands in it, and they plan on leading the charge.
Dom Liberati - (Set time: 11:20 PM)
Dom Liberati
Dom Liberati delivers bass driven anthem rock with an earnest, aggressive and fresh approach. His infectious, stadium-sized hooks are reinforced by sharp, jangly guitars and pocket-heavy grooves. The former Academic All American Quarterback with small town charm, good looks and sensitive worldview maintains his uniqueness as a stand out bassist with unparalleled stage presence and an unforgettable, Midwestern-flared rock voice.

Combining the pop sensibility of The Police and Jimmy Eat World, the raw grit of Foo Fighters and Kings of Leon, the hopeful, confessional lyricism of Switchfoot and the anthemic energy of Bruce Springsteen, Liberati's unique soundscape pays homage to some of his biggest influences.

Born and raised in southeastern Ohio, the scholar athlete received his first bass guitar at age 12. He spent his teenage years juggling his Friday Night Lights-esque small town upbringing with his drive for performing, songwriting and developing his musicianship. In 2007, Dom established Live & Loud Productions, on which he released his first album Humans. Liberati wrote, produced and mixed the entire album. In 2009 he released The Frailty EP featuring sparsely arranged new tunes and acoustic renditions of select Humans tracks.

In late 2009, Dom relocated to Los Angeles and his original song "Love Holds It Down" appeared on the hugely successful Guitar Hero franchise (Guitar Hero 5, Band Hero). He spent the next two years writing, performing and facing self-exploration from which his second album was born.

Liberati's 2011 release The Good Hurt delivered an accomplished collection of songs about life, love and the struggle to make sense of them both. Produced almost entirely by Liberati, the album was mastered at famed Capitol Records and featured collaborations with co-producers The Daylights and Grammy nominated producer Michael Linney (Ke$ha, Jordan Knight, Jason Derulo).

In late 2011, Dom's first official music video was released and "We Own The Night" went on to win two Los Angeles Movie Awards. The video received "Best Editing" and "The Award of Excellence" and continues to gain YouTube views.

Liberati's creative collaborations run across the board. He has written and recorded with Grammy winning songwriter Sunny Hilden (Sting, Ray Charles, David Archuleta), YouTube pop sensation Karmin, and the Tiesto-favored DJ Fei-Fei.

Dom Liberati currently lives in Los Angeles and can be found frequently performing with his self-assembled custom basses at iconic music venues such as The Hotel Café, Viper Room, House of Blues on Sunset Strip, and The Roxy. He sets out in early 2013 on his first international tour to Japan. Co-headlining with friend and former roommate, Australian singer/songwriter Jon Levy, Liberati will be showcasing brand new material of which he'll be releasing in 2013.
