Stan Taylor - (Set time: 10:30 PM)
Stan Taylor
I’ve devoted my life to my music and the growth within that process of evolving and expanding as an Artist. I study full time at the University of Southern California as a vocal major and run my own brand that is STAN TAYLOR. I work with incredible musicians to create both original music, and reinterpret songs from the past through to the present that I love and am inspired by. You can find my music on all sharing platforms and check out my Youtube Channel for even more exclusive content that isn’t already shared here on Facebook. I am a firm believer that perseverance, love, grit, & soul can get you through anything in life. If you dig what I do, follow my movement. I do this for you.

Detoure
DETOURE is a young Southern California power trio, founded in 2014 by childhood friends Sam Edelman (16, drums) Niko Nicholas (15, vocals, lead guitar), and Jersey Sullivan (14, bass). Nodding to their classic hard rock and 90s grunge ancestors, DETOURE loves to play live and has had the opportunity to do so in some of the most iconic clubs on both coasts, including The Whisky A-Go-Go, The Troubadour, and The Mint in Los Angeles, as well as The Iridium and The Bitter End in New York City. They’ve been honored to open for such legendary bands as Missing Persons and The Alarm, as well as Steven Adler from Guns n’ Roses. These guys play hard-hitting rock n’ roll with a fresh, 21st century sound, and just finished recording a single at The Steakhouse Studio with producer Brent Woods (Sebastian Bach, Vince Neil, Chevy Metal).
Jersey Sullivan, 14 years old, is the bassist for Detoure, and also a drummer, guitarist, and actor currently performing on Broadway in Andrew Lloyd Webber’s hit show, “School of Rock.” At two, he debuted at the Santa Monica Farmers Market playing a blue ukulele, requested a banjo for his third birthday, and spent most of his early life drumming on pots, pans, couches and coffee tables. He has played with the West LA School of Rock’s House Band at Hollywood’s Hard Rock Cafe, drummed in several other bands, including The People, which won the House of Blues RockSTAR’ s Battle of the Bands for two years in a row, and had the opportunity to play alongside Stevie Nicks and Slash with his Broadway castmates. Jersey writes music for DETOURE and gets straight As in school. His favorite bands include Led Zeppelin, The Who, Van Halen, and Guns n Roses. Keith Moon is his hero and bacon is his favorite food.

Sam Edelman, Drums. 15 years old. Sam definitely came into this world moving to the beat of his own drum. Not much of a surprise since mom was taking drum lessons while he was in the womb, and dad was belting out songs throughout her pregnancy. For his 2nd birthday Sam received a plastic 3-pc. drum kit with really cool fire flames. This would the first of many kits and the start of a very loud household. Sam has been a part of School of Rock in West LA for 5 years and has drummed at local LA hotspots like the Troubadour, the Whiskey and the Mint. His performances include tributes to Pink Floyd, Rage Against the Machine, David Bowie, Led Zeppelin and more. Sam is part of the drum line in his high school marching band and is in the symphonic winds percussion section where he learns all styles like swing, jazz and classical. His role models are still the same as when he was 5, John Bonham, Keith Moon, Mitch Mitchell, Ian Pace, Nicko McBrain and the list could go on and on.

Niko Nicholas, 15, may not have been one of those kids who showed his natural talent for playing music at the age of 2, but once he did get started it became his passion. It wasnt until he was around 7 that he started dabbling with playing drums and guitar, taking a lesson here and there. When was 9, he decided to sign up at School of Rock. Though he would be a drummer, at the last minute, he decided to take guitar lessons instead. This is when it all really started! He of course was and is inspired by his favorite guitarists, Mike McCready, Eddie Van Halen and Slash, but he has a few killer guitarists close him that he aspires to be like: his guitar teacher and mentor, Brandon Paul, who has played a huge role in Nikos love and connection to guitar; his sister, Naomi, who is a bassist: and her two best friends and bandmates, Jonah Feingold and Michael Edwards. Ironically, Niko also never planned on being a singer and had no idea he had a voice to even try, but during a performance session at School of Rock, his director (yesBrandon) asked him to sing one song. He hesitated and said he couldnt sing, but with a little encouragement from Brandon and his sister, he said yes. Who knew? But that moment on stage at The Troubadour, he created the next level of his passion for music and performing. He hasn't stopped singing since. Favorite band ~ Pearl Jam (ironic how he does have that Eddie Vedder voice). Ask him anything about the band, anything and he'll know! He may be Pearl Jam's biggest fan ever!
