Help the Doctor - (Set time: 10:15 PM)
Help the Doctor
“Help The Doctor” is not your typical Los Angeles based band. These
four surgeons create innately catchy melodies backed by the crunch of
twin guitar attacks and a versatile rhythm section. From the ashes of
“Killing Phantoms,” P. Danger's resplendent former New York City band,
comes a shiny new outlook filtered through the California sunshine and
topography. Coming together in full force in January 2012, Danger
(lead vocals, guitar) found fellow revelers in hooks and love of indie
rock and roll on the hallowed grounds of the UCLA medical campus. Each member brings their own unique journeys into the fray: Rip Towns
(guitar, keys, vocals), a classically trained pianist and guitarist
virtuoso from Baltimore, Jay Roost (bass, vocals), a home-grown LA
bastion whose fluid proficiency combines a wealth of styles, and Sol
Power, the unerringly solid and even keeled drummer from Santa
Barbara. With both a sold-out debut and headlining show at the
legendary Troubadour in West Hollywood, these docs are ones to watch.
Look for their debut EP this fall recorded with Grammy award winning
producer Chris Testa (Jimmy Eat World, Dixie Chicks). Fans of catchy
rock and roll in the independent vein (Weezer, Death Cab for Cutie)
will have much to love here.
Chasing Desolation - (Set time: 9:30 PM)
Chasing Desolation
In an age where rock music is no longer the top genre and attention spans are shorter than ever, a band must go above and beyond to ensure they stand out from the rest of the noise. That is precisely what Chasing Desolation has been striving for since day one.

The group was formed in 2005 by guitarist Jimmy Strimpel before he even reached high school. Seth Perez joined as the drummer, and eventually transitioned to the role of lead vocalist. The band then took a hiatus to pursue other projects and their education. After reuniting in 2016, they added bassist Austin Dunn and the band relocated to Los Angeles. It was there that they found the final addition to the roster: drummer Mike Mayhem.

Chasing Desolation delivers a powerful mix of heavy rock blended with the band's eclectic mix of influences. They seamlessly transition from in-your-face double-kick laden metal riffs to nuanced, harmony-rich melodic sections that are both catchy and intoxicating. The band delivers a high-energy live set that is sure to win over anyone in the crowd from the moment they step on the stage.

The band has recently been gaining serious momentum. The band's track "The Human Disease" was featured on 95.5 KLOS, one of Los Angeles' premier rock radio stations. In September, the band released a new track and music video, entitled "Night Things".

Stay tuned for many more exciting updates!
Pistol Beauty - (Set time: 11:00 PM)
Pistol Beauty
Imagine if the Ramones and Guns N' Roses had a child, and that child was, miraculously, not taken away by the state...

Formed in Hollywood, CA in 2008 by long-time members Ryan (vocals) and Tommy (guitars), Pistol Beauty quickly bonded over their love of catchy hooks and anthemic choruses. "We are the band you can drink beer to. Clap your hands, stamp your feet, and sing along. There aren't a lot of bands in America that let you have fun anymore. So, we created one." After a hiatus to focus on other projects, the boys returned in 2014, eventually adding Andy (bass) , Ron (drums), and Clark (rhythm guitar) to the fold, accentuating their sound with vocal harmonies and a rock-solid rhythm section.

In 2017, their EP Against the Wall (produced by Kevin Cofield) was released and is available on Spotify, iTunes, Amazon, Shazam, Google Music, and other major music sites. The track "Only A Movie" was featured in the indie horror film Red Eye.

To quote Lisa Burke from the website Metal Assault: "[Pistol Beauty bring] the wild and the attitude...the singer has a dynamic voice with good stage presence and the guitar is technical as well as catchy, compromised with the funky fun bass licks and accurately fun drums to bring you a very entertaining show." Pistol Beauty seek to put their imprint on the music world with a smooth combination of rock, punk, pop, and a bit of sleaze thrown in for good measure. With every song having hit potential, it's only a matter of time before the world is singing along.
Savannah Pope - (Set time: 8:45 PM)
Savannah Pope
Savannah Pope is a critically acclaimed rock singer-songwriter who boasts stunning lyricism, vocal power, and stage presence. She creates a new brand of soulful rock steeped in glam and art; an unpaired blend of riveting musicianship, garish style, and theatricality.
Formerly the lead vocalist of award-winning glam rock group SpaceCream, Savannah has been a fixture in the Los Angeles music scene for several years, opening for international acts like Starcrawler and Jesse Hughes. Since breaking into a solo career six months ago, she has wowed fans and press alike with her growing artistic presence. LA Weekly recently named her one of the city’s must-see performers, and Yahoo Music picked her “Creature” music video for their top 20 of 2018 list, marking her as a formidable underdog in a catalog of otherwise major artists. Don’t miss what LA Weekly called a “full blown spectacle” in which Pope’s “powerful vocals are as big and brassy and her presentation is colorfully fantastic”!
