Voices Of Ruin - (Set time: 10:15 PM)
Voices Of Ruin
VOICES OF RUIN are an excellent, excellent new band. And if you’re a fan of Melodic Death Metal then Born From the Dark is an absolute must-have for your collection.

- Amps and Green Screens

VOICES OF RUIN have been cutting their teeth in the highly competitive Southern California metal scene since 2007. From early on, the band received accolades for their devastating live performances all across the local metal circuit and soon went into the studio to record their first full length album. Into Oblivion was recorded in 2010 by engineer/producer Chris Eck.

In the wake of this explosive release was a string of high profile live shows opening for international acts all over Southern California. Soon afterward, VOICES OF RUIN embarked on tours all over the west coast. Members shifted and VOICES OF RUIN found their ultimate lineup with the brothers Dave and Tom Barrett on vocals and lead guitar, Solid Sleeve on rhythm, Wally Myers on bass, and Lonnie Van Horn handling the percussive duties.

After much deliberation, the band settled upon up-and-coming producer Scott Fuller (ABYSMAL DAWN, ANNIHILATED) to record the album Born From The Dark in 2015. With his discerning ear and passion for music, Scott quickly became the "6th member" of the band and proceeded to record the ultimate VOICES OF RUIN album - "Born From The Dark".

VOICES OF RUIN is now playing shows in support of their new album. "Born From the Dark" has been receiving awesome reviews from the critics and the band is playing tighter than ever.

Radium - (Set time: 8:45 PM)
What started as a group of friends jammin’ in the living room has turned into a six-piece modern rock resurgence – RaDIUM.

Brian with his battery of in-your-face percussion; Matt with his heavy-hitting bass lines; Mike with his driving, rhythmic guitar riffs; Trevor with his catchy guitar hooks and shredding solos; Christian with his classically-trained piano skills providing a full, rich sound; and Jeff out front with his aggressive, melodic vocals – all coming together to create a synthesis of rock and roll that leaves you wanting more!

Each members’ strong musical background in previous bands, decades of private lessons and full-time music school – not to mention the hundreds of hours spent jamming just because we love to – have made us awesome. Our diverse influences from Iron Maiden to Gershwin, Aerosmith to Muse have fused together to define our unique sound.

About-JeffJeff started his singing career when he followed a girl into the choir room at his high school. After graduation, and a failed attempt at fame in LA, he went on to get a degree in professional music from the Phil Mattson School For Music Vocations. His passion took him to NY where he toured for three years with a cappella rock band, The Fault Line. Years of singing in jazz, pop, salsa and rock bands has taken him full circle back to LA to front the modern rock band, RaDIUM!

About-ChristianChristian started playing piano at seven. He was put into the Certificate of Merit program through the Music Teachers Association and graduated level nine at 16. By that time he was composing and arranging, and began giving private lessons by 18. Playing everything from Beethoven to Gershwin to Journey, his influences provide a wide and unique variant into the Rock music RaDIUM is known for. Still growing and sharpening his skills, he continues to push his limits to eventually reach his goal of scoring motion pictures.

About-TrevorTrevor got his first guitar at 16 and learned the basics, enough to jam to his favorite songs, mostly classic rock tunes. He played by himself and with his cousin for a while, just for fun, but then he put the guitar away for years. When the opportunity arose to start playing in a band with some of his best buddies, he hopped on it. Trevor immediately loved making music with his friends and decided to start taking the instrument seriously, spending much of his free time with it in hand. Playing guitar has become his favorite pastime, especially in front of a crowd. He’s looking forward to the future with RaDIUM!

About-MikeAt the age of 16, Mike purchased what he thought was a Guns n’ Roses CD, only to find it was a live DVD. Becoming inspired by Slash, he picked up the guitar and began trying to emulate the classic rock sound. Later, he began developing a more modern metal style of playing, taking after some of his favorite artists like Trivium, Arch Enemy, Lamb of God and Bullet For My Valentine. He now enjoys molding the classic rock sound with a touch of metal to create his own style of playing.

about-mattMatthew Montoya, formerly of Trapping John Doe, comes from a musical family. While attending school in Huntington Beach he had the opportunity to learn a variety of instruments from flute to trombone to tuba in the Concert, Jazz, and Marching Bands. During High School he attended the Academy of Performing Arts where he played in their Orchestra and pit. In 2003 he moved to Riverside to play at R.C.C. There he performed for tens of thousands of people and toured London and Spain, and even performed in films. In 2008 he started playing bass. Since then he has performed and recorded with several bands, from Country to Metal. He is looking forward to further honing his skills with the talented guys of RaDIUM.

About-BrianBrian was introduced to a wide range of music at an early age. His education in the manipulation and understanding of sound began in the seventh grade as a member of the middle school band and has continued through high school, college and beyond. He’s performed with garage bands, symphonic orchestras, jazz bands, marching bands and percussion ensembles; most notably winning a gold medal in 2005 at the WGI Independent World Championship with the Riverside Community College indoor percussion line. Playing drums has become an obsession satisfied only by writing and performing great tunes, with amazing musicians, for capacity crowds that RaDIUM is sure to attract.
