The Dales
The Dales
Carried on the breath of three unique and soul lifting voices, The Dales three-part harmony sets the foundation of their Americana roots-rock sound. For more than fifteen years a collective of friends had lent their voices, instrumentation, passion and support to each other’s musical projects.

Life, being as unpredictable as the direction the winds blows, carried a deep and contemplative life moment into the lives of these friends. It was inherent that a musical family was begging to be born.

Drew Lawrence (Keys and Vocals) is a multi-platinum songwriter who has written for and with many of the top artists in the music industry. Drew co-wrote “Jar of Hearts” with Christina Perri (#17 on the Billboard Hot 100) and recently co-wrote “Wiser” for independent artist Madelyn Bailey which has over 5 million views on YouTube.

In November of 2016 Drew, Preston Pope (Guitar and Vocals), Kyle Vanes (Bass), Carrie Turner (Vocals) and Blake Paulson (Drums) traveled up to Bear Creek Studio in Woodinville, Washington to record their forthcoming debut album “Marie”. The band sought out Grammy nominated producer/engineer Jerry Streeter (The Lumineers, Brandi Carlile) to record and produce the music they had written for this life inspired record.

On January 1, 2017 The Dales kicked off the year supporting The White Buffalo to a sold out crowd at the historic Belly Up in Solana Beach, California.

The Dales debut album “Marie” can be found on all major streaming media services. Check our tour dates for your local show!
Skyler Day
Skyler Day
Georgia native Skyler Day wrote her first song at age 10 and began playing guitar at 14. Fast forward and she’s released two EPs and wrapped up a successful residency at the Hotel Café in LA. Day’s second EP, Los Angeles, was co-written with producer/songwriter Steve Solomon (known for hits like James Arthur’s “Say You Won’t Let Go”) and peaked at number 39 on iTunes. Day is known for her folk-meets-country roots, but Los Angeles has more of an experimental vibe, blending in modern sounds and merging subtle synthesizers with her acoustic guitar. Steven Ward of Grimy Goods wrote that Day has “a voice that cuts like silver and a penchant for honest songwriting.” As Day explained to Ward, “I’ve loosened the reins a bit and now we’re experimenting a lot more … we’re going more towards a pop-alternative thing—I don’t know how to categorize it—it’s just very different from anything I’ve done before.” Day, who is also a well-established television actress, has appeared on shows like Parenthood, Pretty Little Liars, MTV’s Sweet and Vicious and Raven’s Home on the Disney Channel.

“I see music as a path to healing,” says Lauren Monroe, who has been performing and composing music since the age of six, when her grandfather from Italy taught her to play guitar. Raised in Queens and the mountains of upstate New York, her roots are in country, bluegrass and folk music. Later she traveled the world in a search for spiritual knowledge, studying deeply in various cultures and traditions, in the process becoming a cross- cultural healer. These experiences allowed her to infuse her music with the power to transform the body, mind, and spirit. A vocalists, songwriter, and musician, Lauren Monroe creates a direct and personal experience of oneness and compassion for audiences and students alike. “The message is love,” says Lauren, as she grounds her spiritual activism in music that gives people a sense of uplifting and connection, salted with the sawdust-on-the-floor honesty that defines the soulful Americana vibe of her work.
