Escondido - (Set time: 10:15 PM)
Escondido is Jessica Maros and Tyler James. Both long time Nashville singer-songwriters, the two met in 2011 during a late night session at James' home studio and bonded over shared love of Ennio Morricone's spaghetti western soundtracks. They recorded their debut album, The Ghost of Escondido, in a single day and released it on their own label, Kill Canyon, in 2013 to critical acclaim. “We wanted it to be like Clint Eastwood playing pop songs at one of the honky-tonks downtown,” James mused. The duo's David Lynch approved sound became the soundtrack to multiple films and TV shows including HBO's Girls and led to appearances on CONAN and ABC's Nashville. The band toured extensively with the likes of Lord Huron, The Lone Bellow, and The Staves before releasing their sophomore album, Walking With A Stranger, in 2016. Following their first national headlining tours, Maros relocated to Los Angeles where the pair recently recorded their 3rd album, Warning Bells, with producer Rob Schnapf (Elliott Smith, Kurl Vile, Beck). The first single, Darkness, is out Sept 8, 2017.
Clara-Nova - (Set time: 9:15 PM)
CLARA-NOVA is a project(ion) of Sydney Wayser. It is a way to be hopeful about the future while still remaining in contact with our original wildness. It is a lot about love. The sound is of California: youthful, utopian, extraordinarily charming. A voice like a glass house in a new country. Too new for a name. Pop-plus. She is a sign for the mesmerized that says WELCOME. Neon but real. In collaboration with producer Shawn Everett (Julian Casablancas, Alabama Shakes, John Legend), a new EP, THE IRON AGE is forthcoming March 2nd, 2018.

CLARA-NOVA will release her single, THE ILLUSIONIST, September 29th, 2017 after being on major US festival run singing backup for Lorde this Summer 2017.

Over the span of her career, Wayser has amassed millions of streams on Spotify, and garnered press praise with NPR, ELLE, Interview Magazine, KEXP, Nylon, and more, plus performed on national TV for Last Call with Carson Daly. Her music has been featured within numerous major films and network TV series such as: Spotlight (film trailer), Wish Upon (film credits), Shameless, How To Get Away With Murder, This Is Us, Fear Inc. Exodus: Gods and Kings (film trailer) and more. Her songs have also been highlighted within national advertising spots for major companies such as: Madewell, Victoria Secret, Old Navy, Billabong, Whole Foods and more.
