Marc Broussard - (Set time: 10:15 PM)
Marc Broussard
Marc Broussard is an artist with a unique gift of channeling the spirits of classic R&B, rock and soul into contemporary terms. This gift has been a matter of common knowledge since 2002, when Broussard released his debut album, Momentary Setback, which he recorded and released independently at age 20. It was no secret before then, going back to those lucky witnesses who heard him belt "Johnny B. Goode" onstage at age 5 while sitting in with his father's band. Throughout his life, Broussard has been tapped as a talent to watch.

Marc’s song “Home” was successful at radio and catapulted him onto the national touring stage. His music has been placed in many TV shows and movies. The timeless, soulful nature of Marc’s vocal lends well to Film and TV, and will continue to do so for years to come.

Most recently, Marc released an independent Christmas Album titled, “Magnolias & Mistletoe”. The original song, “Almost Christmas” received radio play word wide. Marc’s next project is a charitable rhythm and blues covers record to be released summer 2016. He will be donating fifty percent of the proceeds to City of Refuge.
Carsie Blanton - (Set time: 9:15 PM)
Carsie Blanton
“Carsie Blanton has hit one out of the park.” –Washington Post

“Her sly wit and urbane imagery reminds me of a female Cole Porter.” -John Oates (of Hall & Oates)

Carsie Blanton is a singer/songwriter based in New Orleans. Her newest record, So Ferocious, is “a playful indie-pop record for smart, ferocious libertines”. Her albums range from folk and pop (Buoy, 2009) through Americana and rock (Idiot Heart, 2012; Rude Remarks, 2013), to classic jazz (Not Old, Not New, 2014).

When asked about the genre of So Ferocious, Carsie told DIME Magazine, “making music is like making love; if you only know one way to do it, you’re not very good at it.”

So Ferocious was released on August 2nd, along with three music videos, all of which explore the album’s themes of pleasure, ferocity, and female empowerment. Carsie will be touring to promote the record throughout the fall in the US and Europe.

Carsie has toured extensively throughout North America and Europe since 2006, as a headliner and as support for Paul Simon, The Wood Brothers, The Weepies, Shawn Colvin and many more.

Her live performances, which include material from every album, have been praised for their wit, humor, and captivating charm. In addition to her four full-length albums and two EPs, Carsie has gained popularity for her blog (which tackles questions of love and sexuality) and music videos (including “So Ferocious” and “Baby Can Dance”).
Peter Aristone - (Set time: 8:30 PM)
Peter Aristone
It was three years ago. The Slovak singer and songwriter Peter Aristone released his debut album featuring Melanie C from Spice Girls and James Dean Bradfield from Manic Street Preachers, playing a series of UK shows. One of the concerts in East London was extraordinary. Not because of the shabby venue where Peter peformed solo, unplugged and without any mics. It was the chance meeting with Sacha Skarbek which made the evening special. Sacha, the songwriter of hits such as Wrecking Ball (Miley Cyrus) and You’re Beautiful (James Blunt), liked the show and took off with Peter’s album in his pocket.

“I did this record with a producer and percussionist Greg Haver. We’ve become great friends and I’m very proud of the album. Thanks to Greg, I had a chance to work and write with Melanie C and James Dean Bradfield. When Sacha asked for the album after the show, I was over the moon,” recalls Peter Aristone.

Next morning the phone rang and to Peter’s amazement, Sacha Skarbek was calling. He once again praised Peter‘s performance but at the same time, had some critique towards the album he was handed the day before. “I remember when I first saw him play solo without any microphones, I was impressed. He had this straightforwardness and honesty. His previous record had a mighty pop sound but I somehow felt that the singer-songwriter approach and environment is much more fitting to him,“ says Sacha.

The honest conversation carried on and Sacha suggested to jointly write something more intimate which could gradually lead to a strong album with more stripped down arrangements.

Peter says: „I felt like Sacha was reading my thoughts. The shift and return from pop to a more singer-songwriter sound had been a worm inside my head for some time already. So we agreed and started writing.“ Thus, two new EPs Gold and Happiest Accidents were born.

„It feels like a trip back to the times when I was 14 and wrote songs just with my acoustic guitar. Although the 2nd EP is already a bit rockier than the first one, it still feels very natural,“ explains Peter Aristone who studied voice and music production at the renowned Jazz Music Conservatory in Prague going on to become a sound engineer. One of his first jobs was mixing the album of Slovak pop legend “Elan” – a band regularly selling out stadiums in Czech Republic and Slovakia.

“I think this experience kick started my long time ambition of being in a band myself. Of course I was also writing music before, but from this moment everything became more serious and professional. I started gigging and got my first record deal with BrainZone. Their co-founder and A&R has become my manager and one of my best friends at the same time. He is the one who introduced me to people such as Carmen Rizzo (Grammy nominee programmer and producer of Seal and Alanis Morisette), Jamie Muhoberac (sessions player for Linkin Park and Adam Lambert) and Tal Bachman, writer of the worldwide hit “She’s so high”,” describes Peter his beginnings.

Nowadays, Peter Aristone belongs to one of the most promising artists from the central-eastern European region. His catchy tunes have quickly climbed up the radio charts in the Czech Republic, Slovakia, Austria and Switzerland, he started to tour venues from clubs to stadiums, performing solo with a cellist or as a full band supporting the biggest local bands Lucie, Team and Jana Kirschner. His music was hand-picked by labels in Germany, Poland and also MTV U in the USA. As a result, Peter embarked on his first extensive US tour with singer-songwriter Marc Broussard, consisting of more than 30 gigs all over the country. Inevitably, the Slovak artist now looks towards the next year as the biggest one in his music career so far.
