Magic Giant - (Set time: 10:00 PM)
Magic Giant
NPR proclaimed, “This L.A. indie-folk band has a festival anthem on its hands,” and since then MAGIC GIANT has moved bodies and souls in over thirty cities across North America this year. They have sold out legendary venues ranging from the Troubadour in Los Angeles to Mercury Lounge in New York City to The Silver Dollar Room in Toronto, headlining festivals like RiSE for 14,000 people in the Mojave Desert and events like Rock the Vote in Austin, Texas. The group has built a reputation for its infectious sing-alongs and communal live experiences, blending folk instruments (banjo, fiddle, harmonica) with big drums and dance rhythms.

The band kicked off 2015 with a performance on KEXP hosted by John Richards (credited for discovering The Lumineers’ “Ho Hey”). They have since been featured on Spotify’s New Music Tuesday and Billboard for ‘Artist on the Verge.’ The group self-produced its debut EP, notably featuring Rashawn Ross of Dave Matthews Band and Spencer Ludwig of Capital Cities. They are currently working on their sophomore EP from their 1940’s bomb-shelter-turned-studio in Silver Lake, California.
Spencer Ludwig - (Set time: 9:00 PM)
Spencer Ludwig
Spencer Ludwig is a singer, songwriter, and trumpet virtuoso born and raised in Los Angeles, California. Picking up the trumpet at the age of 17, he immediately started making his mark in LA’s Indie, EDM & Pop world. While still an undergraduate studying music at the California Institute of the Arts, he was hired to be the featured trumpeter in the indie-pop group Capital Cities in 2011.

During his time with Capital Cities he recorded on their platinum Capitol Records debut album, "In A Tidal Wave of Mystery", opened for Katy Perry on her Prismatic World Tour, toured the US and the world five times, and performed at festivals around the globe including Coachella, Bonnaroo, and many others.

In January of 2015, Spencer signed a worldwide record deal as a solo artist with Warner Bros. Records. Spencer just recently wrapped the recording process of his debut album with a star-studded group of producers: RedOne, Jesse Shatkin, Jake Sinclair and Bram Inscore. Spencer’s first two singles will be released in July 2016, followed by a multi-city tour.
