A benefit concert in commemoration of the Armenian Genocide.
Yeghikian - (Set time: 10:10 PM)
Yeghikian
Born in Hollywood, and raised in Glendale, he is a Los Angeles native through and through. Alexy Yeghikian has been musically inclined since he was a child. Lucky enough to have the support of his family, he pursued his musical dreams throughout his education.

After high school he attended one of the top art institutions in the world, California Institute of the Arts (CalArts) and excelled in his studies in guitar performance. During his time at CalArts, he studied under jazz giant Larry Koonse and world-renowned guitarist, Miroslav Tadic.

Having played guitar from such a young age, and studying under world-class performers, he is now a professional musician, doing session work and touring around the world.

He has performed and remains friends with musical icons such as Bobby Brown, De LA Soul, Monte Pittman (Madonna), Miguel, KRS-one, to name a few, and continued to be a vital part of A.L.O.C., The Booze Hounds, Pancho and Sancho, and numerous other acts.

On his down time he enjoys painting and illustrating, learning to play different instruments, and playing and watching soccer, his favorite sport since childhood. His favorite team is England’s Liverpool FC.

Alexy also enjoys attending live performances of his peers, and most importantly making music and sharing with his friends, family, and fans.

Yeghikian is Alexy’s first solo project and already has a major fan following. There are plans in the works for world domination. Bend to his will or die…
Blackmore - (Set time: 9:25 PM)
Blackmore
Blackmore, the metal band forged by fire and melody, is based out of Los Angeles, CA. From melodic guitars, to strong rhythm sections, the band pushes a mixture of a modern and progressive metal sound with contemporary lyricism.

Recently joining forces with Blackmore is lead vocalist of VIZA, K’noup, who has spent years a seasoned frontman touring alongside bands such as Serj Tankian (System of a Down), Skindred, and Gogol Bordello. K’noup’s performances demonstrate a genuine art that allows audiences to hear, see, and feel a truth in the music.

Blackmore is currently locked up in the studio working on a full-length EP with producer Yury Anisonyan. The band releases one single a month.

Blackmore is made up of K’noup on vocals, Shaunt Sulahian and Vahan Aslanyan on guitars, Andy Terzyan on bass, and Vinny Mezian on drums.

The Dirty Diamond - (Set time: 8:05 PM)
The Dirty Diamond
Blending a sweet mix of classic American and British infused rock, folk, and Eastern/Armenian tinges, The Dirty Diamond takes listeners on a colorful musical journey. Their soulful and melodic writing creates a vast space in the theater of the mind and heart.

Since the band’s inception, The Dirty Diamond has released 2 albums: "The Dirty Diamond" (produced by Sebu Simonian of the band Capital Cities) and "Our Divine and Sovereign Mother". A fixture on the Los Angeles rock scene, The Dirty Diamond has headlined at iconic venues such as The Troubadour, House of Blues, The Hotel Cafe, and The Viper Room. As an opening act, The Dirty Diamond recently performed at LA’s Greek Theatre.

Some of the band’s collaborations include recordings with pianist Tigran Hamasyan, vocalist Durga McBroom of Pink Floyd, and World Musician Arto Tucboycian.

DD band members, accomplished professionals in their own right, have toured and/or recorded with artists such as Shania Twain, Todd Rundgren, Macy Gray, Serj Tankian, Linda Perhacs, Mika, Keb' Mo, Mindi Abair, Florence + The Machine, James Blunt, Juanes, Andra Day, and more.

The Dirty Diamond are currently hard at work on a new album, set to be titled "Brand New Vintage".
Red Snow - (Set time: 8:45 PM)
Red Snow
You’re not likely to find members of Red Snow dropping names at a Hollywood Hills pool party. Instead, over the years, and despite personnel rotations, this Hollywood rock band has built a loyal fan base and avoided compromise of any kind. By harnessing the power of the internet this “Armenian/American Mythical Powerhouse” in-the-making has made no apologies for their Hard-Core Metal sound in a town that seldom celebrates originality.
Bambir - (Set time: 11:00 PM)
Bambir
The Bambir is not a band.
It is a way of being and a mode of understanding: a lifestyle of all-encompassing, all-inspiring musical creation, limited neither to the studio nor to the rehearsal space, but alive in every breath. Born of a school of music in itself in Gyumri, Armenia, flavored by classic rock, vibrations in stones, Taoism, James Joyce, Rumi, acrobatic tongue twisters and fingerpickings at 3AM when the beer, the tea and the cigarettes have all run out and someone forgot to pay the electricity bill. The name comes from an ancient Armenian instrument all but forgotten by most, it describes the troubadours that travelled and used it. “Bamb” also means loud- say it as “bambir” and it is a command: “Be Loud!” Then again, if you were to ask any member of the band what it means, you’ll get a different answer from each of them.
