St Cello's Fall - (Set time: 11:05 PM)
St Cello's Fall
St. Cello’s Fall is melodic rock with heavy tones and honest lyrics. “Our music generally speaks of my life now. I had a good childhood, so I’m not crying about that. Our lyrics are about me and my mistakes, lessons, teachings, observations, advice, and blessings until now,” explains lead singer Celo. With painfully raw lyrics about topics such as his daughter Carly and his quest to be the perfect father, the songs hit a personal chord with those that listen. The band lives behind the driving force of music being the best way to tell the story of one man’s life.

After five years in the industry, St. Cello’s Fall is not shy of success. Three of their songs were featured in the movie “American Crude” staring Rob Schneider, Rob Livingston, and Michael Clark Duncan. They recently signed a deal to record songs for upcoming film titled “Six Shooter,” a western feature about Pistol Pete (directed by Jayson Merrill, starring Ryan Merriman). St. Cello’s Fall recently scored a pilot for a sports television show called ‘High Powered,” for the NFL Network (actor/comedian Tommy Davidson). In addition, the guys have played a variety of live shows and have been busy recording songs off an upcoming EP.

“Our shows produce great turnouts with a bunch fans and supporting bands that want to share the bill with us,” says Celo. “When you come see us live, you’ll get a healthy dose of “positive attitudes, positive messages, and no fake personalities. What you see is what you get.”

With the soulful voice of Celo accented by a supporting band of Hollywood’s top musicians, St. Cello’s Fall produces a high-energy rock show that captivates even the mellowest of audiences.
MAL - (Set time: 10:15 PM)
Ceasefire - (Set time: 9:30 PM)
Ceasefire is an American alternative rock band that formed in Orange County, California, in 2011. The bands line-up is Ray Alexander (lead vocals), Kamren Alexander (guitar), Brandon Franklin (bass), and Anthony Hainsworth (drums). Ceasefire is known for their arresting vocal melodies and crafted guitar hooks, which are described as combined music styles from new wave 80's and 90's with modern music. A band that continually embraces new elements into their musical repertoire in every new project they encounter. In August 2011 the band went into the studio with Paul Fox and Tim Palmer and recorded their first single "This Love Will Tear Us Apart". The band's music has been featured on several different MTV episodes and much more. They are currently back in the studio and will be following up their first single with "Heartache" and "It's You".
Help the Doctor - (Set time: 8:50 PM)
Help the Doctor
“Help The Doctor” is not your typical Los Angeles based band. These
four surgeons create innately catchy melodies backed by the crunch of
twin guitar attacks and a versatile rhythm section. From the ashes of
“Killing Phantoms,” P. Danger's resplendent former New York City band,
comes a shiny new outlook filtered through the California sunshine and
topography. Coming together in full force in January 2012, Danger
(lead vocals, guitar) found fellow revelers in hooks and love of indie
rock and roll on the hallowed grounds of the UCLA medical campus. Each member brings their own unique journeys into the fray: Rip Towns
(guitar, keys, vocals), a classically trained pianist and guitarist
virtuoso from Baltimore, Jay Roost (bass, vocals), a home-grown LA
bastion whose fluid proficiency combines a wealth of styles, and Sol
Power, the unerringly solid and even keeled drummer from Santa
Barbara. With both a sold-out debut and headlining show at the
legendary Troubadour in West Hollywood, these docs are ones to watch.
Look for their debut EP this fall recorded with Grammy award winning
producer Chris Testa (Jimmy Eat World, Dixie Chicks). Fans of catchy
rock and roll in the independent vein (Weezer, Death Cab for Cutie)
will have much to love here.
Philosophy Of Soul - (Set time: 8:00 PM)
Philosophy Of Soul
Philosophy of Soul is not your conventional or stereotypical band. They are more commonly referred to as Young Musical Hybrids. Their unique and influential upbringing surrounded them with talent and celebrated musicians that helped them create and define their own signature sound.

Brothers Danny and Andy Avila are the sons of Hammond Sam Avila who is a renowned B3 Organ blues musician (Walter Tr...out) and the nephews of Grammy nominated Producer and Oingo Boingo bassist John Avila. The Avila house has always been filled with performers, recording artists, instruments and tons of live music impromptu sessions that exposed the boys to multiple styles and techniques of musicianship. Artists like Victor Bisetti (Los Lobos) Walter Trout (Canned Heat) Tracy G (Dio), Mike Albert (MegaDeath) Jerry Salas (El Chicano) Mike Leisure (Edgar Winter) Rapper Coolio, Sammy Sanchez (Keb Mo, Jackson Browne) John Villalobos (Celia Cruz, Tito Puente). Joining the two brothers is Steven Castillo on bass guitar. Known for his crazy antics while performing has earned him the name of "Supa Steve." Very talented and energetic to say the least Supa was the missing link for Philosophy of Soul.

With only 3 members, they’re sound is powerful, melodic, and memorable to the ears. Stylistically, they sound like six musicians combined. Imagine a collision of Stevie Wonders’ soulful vocals, Stevie Ray Vaughn’s guitar chops, Incubus’ funk and grooves with the Red Hot Chili Peppers’ high energy and delivery. Now combine that musical scenario with strong hooks, universal lyrics and youth, and you will get their definition of the Philosophy of Soul. Philosophy of Soul is Andy Avila, 23, Danny Avila, 22, and Steven “Supa Steve” Castillo, 23.
Space Funk Odyssey - (Set time: 11:50 PM)
Space Funk Odyssey
Space Funk Odyssey was formed in Venice Beach in the summer of 2009. Under the premise of radical self-expression, stylized lyrics, looks/sound, and their all-live dance-rock performances, SFO has created an ever-growing sonic ripple effect since their Hollywood debut in December of 2009. Composed of founding members Cameron Lee Young (Vocals and Guitar) and Judson Birza (Percussion), and additional members Jackie Rainier (Keys and Synthesizer) and Jawnee Burkes (Bass), this band, ages 22-25, continues to play bigger and better shows, most recently headlining Hollywood venues such as House of Blues, The Viper Room, King King, and Cinespace. They have also made successful festival appearances at Burning Man and Los Angeles Decompression. With one album released entitled Electrify Me, SFO continues to write, record and perform dance music in an era where everyone else chooses to supplement with computer technology on stage. With the addition of their new keyboard/synth player, the band is currently writing a live dubstep E.P. that is set to be released January 1st, 2012. Driven by recent independent success of drummer Judson Birza, who won the CBS show "Survivor" (Dec 2010), Space Funk Odyssey is in a great position for continuing the latter of independent rock dominance.
