Benvenue - (Set time: 10:15 PM)
Benvenue
BENVENUE [pronounced, Ben-vuh-new] planted its roots in 2004 when Francis Blay (vocals) and Sid Slater (guitar) started writing songs together in Sid's Berkeley, CA apartment where they met while attending UC Berkeley. After the two moved to LA to experience something new, they moved back to Nor Cal, making it home. The band officially came together in 2008 when Moon (drums), a childhood friend, joined in on a jam session with Fran and Sid; Tommy Aldo Sonin completed the quartet in 2010.

Self-Categorized as melodic hard rock, James Zahn from Kik Axe Music said "Jean Elizabeth is a damn good record."

Erik Cameron from Metalassault.com said "Benvenue don't care for the local trends and their creative efforts are extremely rare and powerful."

Most important to the band is their connection with their fans.

"I really get the sense that Blay and the rest of Benvenue get actual joy from the music they play it's very apparent on these recordings and I am looking forward to catching these kids live if I get the chance."
J.S.L. - Real Rock Report

"There was no escaping the obvious fact that Benvenue brought the house down in Hollywood! The crowd went nuts! Unfortunately, the venue's strict cut-off time prevented Benvenue from giving their audience the encore they demanded but it never hurts to leave the fans begging for more. "

Vas Defrans - (Set time: 8:50 PM)
Vas Defrans
Fusing industrial, progressive, and rock influences, Vas Defrans is a force to be reckoned with. With an undeniable presence and keen musicianship, Vas Defrans’ Cary Singer (guitarist), Max Whipple (bassist), Vincent Coleman (vocalist), Dash Le Francis (guitarist), and Kane Richotte (drummer) bring intellect and an organic sense of creativity to their music.

Vas Defrans recently completed their first Self-titled EP chronicling their journey as musicians and writers over the past two years. Having worked with Noah Shain and his production team, Vas recorded at White Buffalo Studios in Echo Park, working cohesively to create a sound that was relevant, different, and reflective of the uninhibited nature that is Vas Defrans.

Having performed with the likes of Monte Pittman and at the 2008 Coachella Festival, Vas Defrans has made a name for themselves as a high-energy circus of intensity and power with memorable songs and irrefutable passion.

Vas Defrans seeks to inspire a new generation of musicians and connect with each and every fan that is touched by their music. The guitars, drums, and microphones are their platforms but the fans and support are what keeps the creativity flowing.

With the release of their Self-titled EP in January and the world at their fingertips, Vas Defrans, along with their fans known as the VasArmy, plan to take the world by storm in 2012.
Terminal VI - (Set time: 11:00 PM)
Terminal VI
Introducing Terminal VI, a four-piece hardrock band based in Los Angeles, CA.

The members all come from varied musical backgrounds, including hard rock, indie rock, electronica, heavy metal, and even reggae, but Terminal VI comes together to form a unique sound that can't be classified. Terminal VI's focus on "songs" is backed by impressive musicianship demonstrated in Pink Floydish guitar sounds, "big" choruses, catchy melodies, and tasteful percussion.

The first demo release, in March of 2009, included 5 songs: The Cure, Shattering Down, Running For So Long, Open Your Eyes, and Do You Remember. This served as a launching point for headlining shows throughout the southern California area, including the legendary Whisky-a-Go-Go.

Fast-forward to early 2010. Terminal VI has evolved into a movement with dedicated friends (fans) spreading rapidly across the globe. Just released is a 5 song EP titled "Honor In Struggle." The songs deal with many different topics including war, love, drug addiction, and trust. While the topics may sometimes be dark, the messages are positive; stay true to who you are, believe in yourself, and never stop fighting.
Be on the lookout and join the friends of Terminal VI.

This is a band to watch-out for in 2010.
the PENNANT - (Set time: 8:00 PM)
the PENNANT is a San Diego-based band blending elements of R&B, Soul, Pop/Rock, and Hip Hop to make up their very distinct sound. If John Legend & The Fray made passionate love, and had a passionate love-child, that child would be the PENNANT. This young quartet has been catching the ears (and eyes) of many all over the West Coast and are planning a national tour next year. Their debut EP, "Soon Enough" is now available on iTunes. Keep a look out for, the PENNANT.
