Tim Finn - (Set time: 9:30 PM)
SPLIT ENZ FOUNDER & ACCLAIMED SOLO ARTIST
TIM FINN
ANNOUNCES TWO LIVE SHOWS IN THE U.S
THIS AUGUST!
Fresh from a southern hemisphere summer of headlining festivals and recording new material, one of the music worlds great songwriters and New Zealand native,
Tim Finn will be returning to the United States this August for two exclusive live performances with his electric live band.
Finn will play The Troubadour in Los Angeles on Monday August 2 and the City Winery in New York City on August 4.
As a critically acclaimed artist, founder of legendary pop/punk-art pioneers Split Enz and one-time member of Crowded House (along side brother, Neil) Tim Finn has been responsible
for some of the most revered songs in contemporary music and has served as an inspiration to a new generation of artists and performers. His songs have been cherished by the likes of Eddie Vedder, Ben Harper, Newton Faulkner, Luke Steele (Empire Of The Sun/The Sleepy Jackson) and many others.
And in a career that has spanned almost 40 years, Finn still has a creative thirst to write, record and play new material. That’s not to say his set isn’t filled with such timeless songs as
Six Months In A Leaky Boat, Persuasion, I See Red, Weather With You, Dirty Creature, It’s Only Natural and Poor Boy. Finn’s remarkable catalogue, combined with his effervescent stage presence is the reason why he remains an important and vital musical force.
