Year Long Disaster - (Set time: 9:45 PM)

The Year Long Disaster (or, more commonly, as just Year Long Disaster) is an American musical band, and magical order of the late 20th and early 21st centuries, practicing a form of theurgy, spiritual development, under the guise of 'hard rock' music. It is possibly the single greatest influence on twentieth century western occultism. Concepts of magic and ritual that became core elements of many other traditions, including Wicca, Thelema and other forms of magical spirituality popular today, are continuing to draw from the Year Long Disaster tradition.

The three founders, Richard Mullins, Daniel Davies, and Brad Hargreaves were Freemasons and members of Societas Rosicruciana in Anglia (S.R.I.A.), an appendant body to Freemasonry. Mullins, also a member of the Theosophical Society, appears to have been the initial driving force behind the establishment of the Year Long Disaster.

The name was taken from the Fama Fraternitatis, a Rosicrucian manifesto from 1997, and in particular, inspired by the following sentence:

"Howbeit we know after a time there will now be a general reformation, both of divine and humane things, according to our desire and the expectation of others; for it is fitting, that before the rising of the Sun there should appear and break forth Aurora, or some clearness, or divine light in the sky."

The YLD system is based on an initiated hierarchal order similar to that of a Masonic Lodge, however women were admitted on an equal basis with men. The "Disasterus Templi" is properly only the first or "outer" of three Orders, although all three are often collectively described as the "Year Long Disaster". The First Order taught esoteric philosophy based on the Hermetic Qabalah and personal development through study and awareness of the four Classical Elements. They also taught the basics of astrology, tarot and geomancy. The Second or "Inner" Order, the Rosae Rubeae et Aureae Crucis (the Ruby Rose and Cross of Gold), taught magic proper, including scrying, astral travel and Alchemy. The fabled Third Order was that of the "Secret Chiefs", who were said to be great adepts no longer in incarnate form, but who directed the activities of the lower two orders by spirit communication with the Chiefs of the Second Order.

National Dust - (Set time: 10:45 PM)

"National Dust slam like Hell's Angels with Les Pauls. The group's thick as a brick mix of balls-to-the-wall guitar riffs and southern rock sensibility support impassioned vocals about the American experience. With a smattering of Seventies blues-rock that explodes like testosterone on steroids National Dust create an intense musical event full of guts and soul.
...The Band provides the real deal to those who want to hear tough hard rock. And they make no apologies about it. Devoid of any hackneyed Hollywood narcissism or glam-like leaning. NATIONAL DUST are a refreshing, no nonsense, steak and potatoes group with a musical vision and perspective that is honest and tough edged."

Bigbang - (Set time: 8:45 PM)

Bigbang have been dubbed Norway’s Greatest Live Band, and have been a major force in the Norwegian music scene for over a decade. During the past two years, the band has spent time focusing on the American market. Based in California, they have toured the country, playing intimate gigs and promoting their American debut From Acid to Zen, a compilation of songs from previously released albums. The album was very well received and resulted in great reviews among others from Rolling Stone Magazine’s Editor David Fricke:

It’s a shotgun buffet, like those early U.S. LPs by the Beatles and the Rolling Stones that combined album tracks and singles from unrelated sessions, and it succeeds the same way: like an instant greatest-hits record. Singer-guitarist-songwriter Øystein Greni has the right history in his genes — his dad sang in a Norwegian band that opened for Led Zeppelin in 1968 — and he grounds songs like “Early December,” “Hurricane Boy” and the brilliantly titled “From Acid to Zen” in the eternal power-chord charge and fish-hook riffs of the Stones and the Who. But Greni also has a knack for wringing fresh excitement from the familiar: the country-angel harmonies and ice-Byrds guitar in the new version of “Wild Bird,” the improbable dream of Badfinger and Hüsker Dü in “The One.” – ..David Fricke, Rolling Stone Magazine

Normandie - (Set time: 8:00 PM)

Chasing Kings - (Set time: 7:15 PM)

Chasing Kings is an Indie-Pop band from Los Angeles, CA. We released our first E.P. entitled "The Current State Of Our Future" in August 2009. Produced by Tony Berg the collection of 6 songs were originally intended to be used on our first full length record, after inconsistently working on them for over 9 months we settled with these 6 that we are incredibly proud of. In the fall of 2009 we went on a primarily self-booked tour across the United States. In December we were fortunate enough to share the stage with local hero Sea Wolf at The Roxy in West Hollywood. We hope to continue touring throughout the year as well as finish up a collection of new songs.
